Hey there! We’re Aimee and Dan - the couple behind Dreadit!

 

We’re engaged, live together, and have been running our loc business side by side for 6 incredible years.

 

We absolutely love what we do - helping people bring their loc dreams to life and watching the confidence that comes with every transformation!

I’m Aimee, the main loctician here at Dreadit. I’ve been working professionally with locs for over 11 years, building experience, skill, and deep passion for this craft. Creating and maintaining locs is my world - from starter locs and maintenance to full transformations, I’m here to make sure every client walks away loving their hair.

​

And then there’s Dan - my amazing fiancé and the other half of Dreadit. When he’s not in the studio, he’s a chef (yes, he’s as talented in the kitchen as he is with locs!).

 

Dan was fully trained by me some years ago, and he’s now on stand-by for our bigger appointments or when you’re after a super speedy session. If you’d like a faster appointment (half the usual time!) - just message us to book a “speedy session” and Dan will jump in to help!

Over the years, Dreadit has taken us all over the UK - from lively festivals to client homes, and of course, working right here from our cosy cottage in Dorset.

 

Every appointment is special to us, and we’re so grateful to every single client who’s trusted us with their loc journey!
